INtegrated Content and Language via a Unified Digital Environment: INCLUDE
EU Commission underlines the need to integrate in the educational curricula new ways of learning, more effective for a society that is becoming increasingly mobile and digital (“Teaching Languages at School in Europe-2017”,Eurydice), such as Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) which is not so widely spread in formal curricula.
INCLUDE project aims at:
– developing a common European framework for CLIL targeted to lower secondary and upper secondary schools (ISCED 2 and 3) that promotes linguistic and subject related competences and soft skills (with reference to the Council Recommendation on Key Competences 2018), starting from the experiences and good practices already realized in the partner countries and in Europe, and improving, in a participatory way, the capability of teachers to develop educational scenarios and interactive objects linked to a CLIL approach.
– improving student linguistic competences, subject competences and Key competences (in particular Multilingual and digital competences, Personal, social and learning to learn competence, Citizenship competence and cultural awareness).
